Starting out from the splendid Bumthang valley, this three days trek passes though several villages and provides and exceptional opportunity for contact with the Bumthang rural life. The valley, which is wide and lush, is also known worldwide for its exquisite handicraft industry. Spectacular mountain scenery, remote and dramatic monasteries and pristine Himalayan culture is all included in this beautiful trek.

Day-to-Day Itinerary

Day 01:
Druk air BAE 146-100 series, the only national carrier of Bhutan offers beautiful view of mountains and landscapes. On arrival and after visa formalities, met by representatives and transferred to the Resort / Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Kichu Resort..
Day 02:
Paro Sightseeing. Overnight at Kichu Resort.
Day 03:
Morning drive to Thimphu and sightseeing. Overnight at camp.
Day 04:
Thimphu sightseeing and drive 4 hrs to Wangdiphodrang via Punakha. Overnight at Wangdi Resort.
Day 05:
Drive 6 hrs. to Bumthang. Overnight at Karma Tobden Guest House.
Day 06:
Trek starts. Bumthang Ngang Lhakhang 14 kms. 5/6 hrs. Overnight at camp (alt. 2900m.).
Day 07:
Ngang Lhakhang Ugyenchholing.16 kms. 7/8 hrs. Over Phephe La Pass. Overnight at camp (alt 2900m.).
Day 08:
Ugyenchholing- Bumthang (A day can be extended to trek to Ura Village). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 09:
Drive 6 hrs to wangdiphodrang. Overnight at Wangdi Resort.
Day 10:
Drive 5 hrs to paro. Overnight at Kichu Resort.
Day 11:
Early breakfast and transfer to the airport fly back to Kathmandu.
