Day-to-Day Itinerary
Day 01:
Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International airport the guest will be received and transfered to the hotel.
Evening: a short briefing about the trek.
Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02:
After breakfast, there will be a sightseeing tour of the ancient Kathmandu city with its many beautiful temples and courtyards. A walk through the narrow streets of the old bazaar and a visit to the Temple of the Living Goddess Kumari (Kumari ghar) the residence of living goddess Kumari Ghar is situated in the vicinity of Hanuman Dhoka palace. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03:
After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport and fly Kathmandu / Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, meet our Trek guide and transfer to Nayapul via Lumle and start trek.
Lunch at Birethanti (3400ft./1037m) and continue trek to Tirkhedhunga (5175 ft / 1577m). Trek duration (3 hours).
Dinner and overnight camp at Tikhedhunga.
Day 04:
Full day uphill trek through Brahmins, Chettris, Gurungs and Magars villages, to Banthanti where lunch will be served. Afternoon trek through dense forests of rhododendron and pine and arrive at Ghorepani (9300 ft / 2724m). Trek duration = 6 hours.

Day 05:
Pre-dawn wake up and trek upto Pun hill to view the sunrise (weather permitting). After breakfast at Ghorepani start a day long trek down to Tatopani (3900m./1189m). The trail descends steadily to Tatopani, literally "Hot Water", one can bath in the Hot springs. Trek duration = 6 hours.

Day 06:
After breakfast, follow the Kali Gandaki River passing by waterfalls, Thakalis, and Magar Villages to Dana (4750 ft./ 1446m). After lunch, continue trek up hill to Ghasa (6600 ft./ 2012m). Trek duration = 6 hours.

Day 07:
As one passes between the Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna range, a dramatic change in vegetation is witnessed from green forests, to dry arid desert. Passing through Kalopani (2530m. / 8300 ft), we get the first views of the Annapurnas. Rest at Lamjung in a Thakali village. Trek to campsite at Marpha (8750 ft./ 2667m). Trek duration = 6 hours.

Day 08:
We start the trek slowly and arrive at Jomsom for lunch. The Thakalis are the dominant tribe of the valley, related to the Gurungs and Magars of the southern slopes. After lunch, we continue trekking to Kagbeni (2800m), which is the gateway to upper Mustang. Trek duration = 5 hours.

Day 09:
Trek slowly upto Muktinath (12,475ft./3802m). After lunch, guests must rest for acclimatization. Trek duration = 4 hours.

Day 10:
Free day in Muktinath.
Carry a packed lunch box and trek up to the Thorung-la base camp. There are many things of interest to occupy the day in this ancient town, which also used to be the capital of one of the provinces of Mustang. It is therefore, interesting to note the mixture of Buddhist and Hindu culture in this area.

Day 11:
After breakfast, trek back to Jomsom. In the evening the Sherpa team will host a farewell dinner. Trek duration = 5 hours.

Day 12:
Backtrack to Chhomrong – Trek duration 5 hrs.

Day 13:
After breakfast, we drive to Chitwan - 4 hrs. (about 160 kms.) The Muglin highway connects Chitwan with Pokhara. The drive is through terraced rice fields and scenic countryside along the banks of the Trishuli River. Upon arrival at the Park entry point we will be received by Naturalists / representatives from the wildlife resort and will transfer us to the wildlife resort situated inside the Royal Chitwan National Park by Land Rover / canoes / elephants.

Day 14:
Full-day Jungle activities inside the Park, which includes: elephant safari, canoeing, nature walk and bird watching, etc.

Day 15:
After breakfast, transfer to the park exist point and board the vehicle for the 5 hours drive to Kathmandu by the Muglin highway. It is more scenic and quicker as the highway is well maintained. We strongly suggest stopping for a lunch at the River Side Spring Resort for a typical Nepali Thali lunch.
Evening: Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 16:
Transfer to airport for final departure.
