Day-to-Day Itinerary

• Day 01:
  Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa PM: Rest & acclimatization
  Fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu taking one of the world's most scenic flights to Lhasa (3,650), flying across the Hindu Range and the valleys of three of Asia's greatest rivers, the Salween, the Mekong, and the Yangtze.
  Overnight at the hotel Lhasa.
• Day 02:
  In Lhasa: Full day sightseeing tour of Lhasa including the Drepung & Sera Monastery
  Take an excursion to Drepung and Sera Monastery, one of the most important monastic sites of Tibet, and do some light hiking in the surrounding area.
  Overnight at the hotel Lhasa.
• Day 03:
  In Lhasa: Full day sightseeing tour of Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple.
  Visit the Potala Palace and explore the grandest of its myriad rooms; audience halls; and the immense, jeweled burial chortens of past Dalai Lamas; its chamber after chapel after shrine of statuary, frescoes, and paintings.
  Overnight at the hotel Lhasa.
• Day 04:
  AM: Visit Norbulingka. PM: Free for shopping.
  Overnight at the hotel Lhasa.
• Day 05:
  Early breakfast and transfer to the airport fly back to Kathmandu.
