Day-to-Day Itinerary
- Day 01:
Fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu.
Fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu taking one of the world's most scenic flights to Lhasa
(3,650), flying across the Hindu Range and the valleys of three of Asia's greatest
rivers, the Salween, the Mekong, and the Yangtze.
Overnight at Lhasa.
- Day 02:
Sightseeing tour around Lhasa.
Visit the Potala Palace and explore the grandest of its myriad rooms; audience halls;
and the immense, jeweled burial chortens of past Dalai Lamas. Also of interest is
the lovely Jewel Park, where the Dalai Lamas lived in the summer, enjoying informality
impossible in the Potala.
Overnight at Lhasa.
- Day 03:
Sightseeing tour around Lhasa.
Take an excursion to Ganden Monastery, one of the most important monastic sites
of Tibet, and do some light hiking in the surrounding area.
Overnight at Lhasa.
- Day 04:
Early breakfast and transfer to the airport fly back to Kathmandu.

and telephone calls, extra mileage, tips to guide, porters, drivers etc.
